In the midst of my "flying fun" last week I forgot to mention what I saw.

I'm walking through Terminal C in Nashville and see through the window a Southwest Jet with a hump on it's back. I asked someone what that was all about, and it is their wifi hotspot. They are rigging their planes with internet!

WOW!!!! Now, if I get on the right SWA plane.... I can give REAL LIFE.... on the SPOT flight reports and photos!!!!!!

I was lucky on a flight about a year ago that the plane had WiFi, but I didn't want to pay $9.99 for a 2-hr trip. However, they had free promotional stuff. In the last 30 min of the trip, they opened full Internet access at no charge. It was cool knowing you could communicate at 35000 feet!

Glad SWA is moving along to equip more planes!
