I am about to start to get some music together for my flight and download it on to my ipod.

Question is what would you download to try to relax to.

Sarah McLachlan is pretty relaxing. Most anything of hers would be a good bet.

And I know you want relaxing music, but you might want to download "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins, just on principle.

Let's see, while waiting in the airport usually Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Talking Heads, Psychedelic Furs. And I avoid Lynyrd Skynyrd on flight day (that's not a joke, I really do avoid bringing them on the plane with me).

In flight anything classical, usually Beethoven or Mozart. Like Bronze Elephant said, something about that majestic view and classical go hand in hand.

There is only one REAL choice, Mark. IPOD!!!!!!!!!!!

The mini is only about $250. WORTH EVERY DIME (easy to say since mine was a gift).

Hi Mark- I just faced the same decision, and decided to get an ipod mini two days ago! so far it is great! It can hold like 1000 songs and is smaller than my cell phone, so I recommend it:hyped

We love iPods so much in my house that we have two! My husband got his a year ago and when he finally got sick of my music popping on when he would listen he bought me my own. Aw, what a guy!

Seriously, it is one of the greatest things I have ever owned. I love to set it to Browse because it comes up with some great setlists. Usually when I'm in-flight I have it set to either Pearl Jam or The Who because both of those bands just put my soul at ease.

So that's my two cents about the iPod.
