Part of dealing with or beating any fear or phobia is repeat desensitizing of the situation. I just happened upon this in-flight screensaver mid-year. It's great since I'm next to my computer most each working day, and when it's idle, my computer is 35,000 feet in the air and I'm looking out the window just as I would if I were flying. For me, it's a great tool for the mind of a fearful flyer. So when the day comes for real flight, the anxiety level is lower and my mind is well prepared for successful adventure. I highly recommend it!

Software Info: Holding Pattern turns your idle computer screen into an airplane window, complete with a moving aerial view. It generates a random flight every time your computer plays it. Sometimes you will encounter rare views that have a low probability. You might also catch Holding Pattern's own flight-safety diagrams. Be patient and let the screensaver play for a while, and you'll see this flight does have a destination. (My NOTE: no it doesn't...you just keep flying, but that's OK.)
Download.com Review: If you enjoy gazing out of an airplane window at the landscape below, the Holding Pattern Screensaver gives you this sensation time and time again. This screensaver brings to your desktop an ample stream of cinematic images photographed through an airplane window. We liked the fact that Holding Pattern contains a variety of images, from picturesque snow-covered mountains to more average fare such as a resting baby. This program's only downside is that it takes up a little too much of your system resources for a screensaver. Nevertheless, we still think Holding Pattern is a beautifully designed, fun app to have on your PC.
Enjoy!
