Having a little AA. Nothing bad, probably more related to the fact that I still need to clean the kitchen and finish packing than anything. I made myself pack all my goodies and be happy about it earlier (I keep everything in a bag in my closet, easily accessible, 'cause you know, I'm now such a jet-setter :D). I've been worried about the weather, though it's supposed to be pretty calm tomorrow. Maybe a shower on the SC side, but I've flown in the rain and survived. They were originally calling for some wind here tomorrow, but we got it today instead.
I'm off to get the kitchen in order, but I'll check back before turning in.

Less than 12 hours...anyone still up? ...Heh...with members of TF around the world...SOMEONE is always awake! Though I'm about to call it a night, myself.
Are you going to put your flight info. up on the tracking board, in case anyone wants tracking practice tomorrow? ;)
Remember what Gordie's therapist told him, about needing some anticipatory anxiety to keep you on your toes, so you don't forget your plane ticket, etc.
Remember that the planes have all that high-tech radar on board so they can see where the thunderstorm cells are, and they are required to avoid them by 20+ miles. Rain doesn't hurt the plane, and doesn't necessarily mean turbulence either.
Have a great flight... :)

I'll post my flight info, in case anyone wants to track me. It's a really short flight, so I guess it would be good for practice. :)
Yeah, I've had lots of weather experiences in my last few flights. Rain (Hong Kong), rain and fog (Shanghai), winds (Chicago...picture that). Just one of those things that bothers me. Like I said, we got the winds today, and with just how strong they've been lately, that's what worried me the most.
And now I'm getting a shower and getting into bed. After I pack the chopsticks I accidentally stole from my friends the last time I saw them...and more toiletries...and a half dozen other things. I swear, I need to hire someone to pack for me.

Darichi - Hong Kong was the bumpiest flights whats with their weather? I dont even trust what they forecast because its so not predictable!
I recall something Barb San once told me - its always fine above the clouds! - Keep that in mind even thought its yuck once you get above it usually ends up being fine!!
I hope you have a pleasant flight and you got all your cleaning done! :)

hey, awake here but just seen your post.
I fly in about 20 hours time now. Been like a lunatic today, finalising packing, cutting hair, checking in on line, getting batteries charged, getting laptops ready and all emails up to date.
We leave for the airport at 12 noon UK time Sunday, arriving airport at 2:20pm for a 4:55pm departure.
At the moment dont have a care in the world and I hope it stays that way. It is now 4 hours since I checked in online and in another 30mins or so todays flights will be landing. Where has the last 4 hours gone? No idea.
I am normally packed and organised weeks in advance but left it until last minute this time so I had something to concentrate on today.
Tomorrow will be an interesting day !!
