I'd Rather Be Flying

Most of us are afraid to fly, and some of us really hate to fly. However, there have to be times in our lives when even getting on an airplane would be preferable to what we're doing at that point. What are some of those things we like less than flying?

My answer:
- Going out to run (especially lately).
- Going to the doctor.
- Cleaning the bathroom.
and finally...
- Everything that has to be done at the airport BEFORE you can get on the plane!

Doing reports at work
Driving on wide open freeways miles and miles from anything

Things I like less than flying:

*Scooping the kitty litter box (Barb, can you relate??)
*Riding as a passenger in a car
*Playing referee to 2 arguing kids
*Going to the "girly parts" doctor
*Having blood drawn

oh yes, I can relate, Kelley! I am totally burned out on scooping poop, but I do it dutifully anyway, 'cause the consequences would be terrible. :shakehead

And I don't dig the girlyparts doc too much either! :run

But what really chaps my arse is dealing with (1) online airplane scheduling hassles and (2) dip$#!t pet owners who want to dump their cats because...oh, he doesn't match the new rug or oh, we just can't pay the pet deposit at the newer fancier aprtment complex or oh, I just don't have time for him anymore...the list goes on...:fuming


flying...hey! there are very few things in life that I like MORE than flying!! :airplane
