Tires

Didn't I post a question about tires? Where is? And if it got taken down, why?

My question was about planes blowing tires at take off and landing and what can the pilots do to help the plane not crash when that happens. Seems like there have been a few crashes lately where that may have been the cause. Do tire failures happen a lot but noting comes of them or are they rare?

No problem, we train for this in the simulator. The blowing tyre is the easy bit dealing with the other systems the training captains switches off on us takes longer.
