Have a flight coming up.
After not getting to go anywhere since August, booked my flight for Nashville in December.
Funny thing.... Same flight, on the EXACT same date (December 23, 2004) as last year's when I started flying again.
If you remember, December 23, 2003, I got on and off a flight, and ended up going the next day.
This time... December 23, 2004, I am STAYING ON!
Hopefully, I will get on one of the new 737-700s with winglets!

Or maybe even California's own State Bird... California One...

Regardless... finally getting back in the air! :fly

Feeling liberated, right Mark?
Don't have a flight booked 'til next March (Song to FLL), and I'm already antsy!!!
We'll count the days down for ya!

I think that I, too, am getting the sickness.
Till a month ago, I hadn't flown at all in more than a year...and before that, more than three years! (And four years before that!) Now, I've taken two trips in three weeks, and I'm already looking to book a ticket home for Christmas! I did find a pretty good deal, but unfortunately, not good enough to make it cost-effective for me to do it. Looks like I'll be flying I-80 again.

ah, these symptoms bode well...
looking forward to flying? feeling a need, or rather a craving, to be up there?!! feeling confused, unfocused, in a state of withdrawal if you don't have one booked? :thumbsup

Thanks Yall!
Barb... not too sure if I am that far gone! ha ha
But, I know I am just looking forward to getting back up there. Just did not want too much time to go by.
Some may see it as bad luck to go again on the exact same date as last year's drama... but to me... well... I don't know how to explain it...
It will be exciting to fly out of the same airport, same flight, same gate (most likely), same airline, same aircraft, same destination... Everything is going to be the same, EXCEPT ME!
Now, compared to then, I have become much stronger, a little wiser, and armed to the teeth with the knowledge to kick that monster's :troll butt right back in the closet!
Hey, yall think you might want to have a anniversary track-a-thon like you did last year! :rolling

Hey Mark -
Maybe you will get on the SWA plane I saw when we landed in Nashville this afternoon. It looks like SHAMU the Killer Whale from Sea World! Also saw a cool Anniversary silver jet in ATL for Delta.
:) Wish you were here now, Mark. Nashville is gorgeous - not too chilly!!

Keep getting back on the horse Mark. It'll get easier.
BTW......As someone who flies in a lot of turboprops, I din't like those clouds in the first pic. Fly into one of those on a prop and see how much fun it is. Of course, they can usually skirt around those.

What was I thinking :banghead .
I'm thinking maybe I can share my trip with people who are missing flying...I'll take 5 hours they can take 5 hours...
