Congratulations, and looking forward to your flight report. :)

To upload photos, you need to scroll down the page when writing your post to "manage attachments", click on that, then browse your hard drive to find your (less than 97 kb) photo, select it, then click upload. If the file is too large, you will get a message telling what size it is, which will give you an idea how much further you need to reduce it. You are limited to 5 photos per post when you use the attachment function. I reduce my photos using Microsoft Picture It (there's a function in there for sizing photos for the web). There are other digital image programs out there...so you may need experiment to get the size thing figured out.

If you want the photo to actually SHOW in your post (as opposed to being a clickable link), you need to upload just one photo per post. Sometimes I do it that way, because guests who haven't logged in can see the photos. If they are posted as clickable links, only members who are logged in can see them (so that also makes them more private).

Some people also post their photos on a website like Photobucket, and then link the photos to their post here. That works as long as you keep the photo stored on the external site. If you upload the photo here as an attachment, it will remain permanently unless you later go in and delete it.
