Message Opening with Centering Set

Ever since my recent return to this board, every time I try to post a new message, the box in which to type the message opens up with Center Alignment set. Is there a way I can fix this so that I can start out with Align Left as my default? Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

go to "user CP"

click "edit options" on left...

scroll all the way down and choose basic editor under that misc heading.

All will be well

The problem has been fixed. And I don't get all of those other HTML options, either. That's fine with me. Thanks for your help.
