I had an unusual and fun thanksgiving this year.
I'm a Brit, working for an American organization (in Germany!) and usually get invited to some kind of thanksgiving event ...this year I went to a thanksgiving dinner hosted by a local Irish pub with all proceeds going to Unicef. We also had an auction of lots of stuff donated by various companies. It was a lot of fun, very multi-national, with all proceeds going to a good cause :sunshine

Wow!!! That does sound like a great time!

I like spending holidays with folks from other countries.

Two years ago, I spent 4th of July at my brother's place in Uxbridge England. He had a barbecue, with about 70 of his coworkers, about half were British! They loved it!
