Just in case anyone is wondering, Debbie, beaugest, my SO (who says he's going to come on the board as spiffytwo - LOL) and I had lunch Friday outside of Boston. It was very fun. Debbie brought some pictures from the famous Captain Ray flight and we got to exclaim over them...as well as grandson pictures. Beaugest told college hunting stories. Spiffytwo was his usual cute amiable self.

It was a nice low-key lunch...we had been talking about it before and I didn't want people to think that we didn't post anything because we met and didn't play nice, or something.

One thing that had escaped me until our lunch is that Monica is going to ISRAEL in a month or two(? correct me if dates are wrong). I was quite impressed with this. That seems like a long way to me.

But, if I can get kicked off an airplane for misbehaving, why can't we have gotten kicked out of a restaurant?? Would've made for an interesting story!

It's always good to see The Spiffys - 1 and Too. We've met a few times.

It certainly was a treat meeting Monica (beaugest). She's a lot of fun!

I did get a couple of pics, but they didn't come out that great. Not much of a photographer. Maybe I'll get 'em posted anyway in the not-so-distant future.

Anyway, hope we can do it again! It's always so great to meet "us".

Thanks all. I really enjoyed lunch. Between work and the mom thing it is often difficult to do just adult type things.I often can't keep up with old friends much less meet new ones. So, I pick and choose the activities carefully. I really choose well this time. I got to meet 3 bright, fun people who were a pleasure to meet. As an added bonus they really get this FOF stuff.
Huey, your spelling is perfect as is your choice of expression.
Kelley, I haven't gone yet. As Mark said I just made the commitment. This is a big one for me because I don't like long flights.::blech
It's 10 hours going and 12 coming home.:blech :blech
So, I'm already starting to prepare myself for it.
I already know that Ray's book, Huey's list and Deb's friend :anon will be coming with me. I welcome any other suggestions to make the time pass...
And anytime I start to worry that I will be tempted to run down the aisle screaming "let me off..."I will remember Huey's words of wisdom that if I try that I will run right into the drink cart.
