Passenger Mark

You all may remember this from my Christmas Trip Report...
...and then went over and stood by the window and looked at the plane. From behind I heard a voice saying... "So you are going to try it again huh?" I turned to find a Southwest Captain standing there. I said yes. At first I thought he was the Captain for the flight, but he introduced himself, and said he was done for the day and was heading back home to Salt Lake. He had been told about my situation, and volunteered to fly with me.
After THE flight to Phoenix, I got the name of the Captain, but lost it in all the confusion, and brain farts!
After returning home, I wrote a compliment letter to SWA, as did some of the others that are now here. I asked specifically about the mysterious Southwest Captain that had helped me that day.
In a phone call with SWA they advised that they would "try" and find out who it was, but if he was not scheduled to be on that flight, it may be hard. Regardless, they would not be able to provide any contact information, but they would pass my thanks along.
It seemed that I was not going to be able to thank him, and let him know what he had helped me do.
Then comes Detective Ray! I told Ray that I would really like to find out who it was, and if possible speak with him, and let him know just how much he helped me.
Then today, came this email from Ray...

Subject: Call Jeff
Jeff wants to talk with you about your flight....
xxx-xxx-xxxx cell
xxx-xxx-xxxx home (Spokane)
At first, I was saying to myself... "who the heck is Jeff"!
Then I figured it out, made a quick call, and got VM and left a message.
A few hours later, Jeff aka "mystery pilot" landed in Burbank, and gave me a call.
It was great! Ray had not had a chance to tell him about the website, so I let him know about that. And about the 21 flights, including the RT to England!
He was amazed, and happy. Said when he got home he would check out the website and forum. He would also contact Ray to see if he needed any help on his forum.
He told me that he had just said to his wife... it is getting near Christmas time, I wonder how Mark is doing with his flying? I was amazed that he remembered me at all, much less my name.
Jeff said something on the phone, that he had said to me that day almost a year ago. "He is happy to do whatever he can, to help folks fly"!
It may sound like minor stuff to some, but to me it was great! Jeff had helped me so much that day, I wanted to thank him, and let him know what he helped start!
Thanks for letting me share this with you all!
And Ray... Thanks for your detective work!!!
