Hey cammie, nice thought...
I traveled back in a car today. The ride took 3 hours longer than usual and it was pouring for part of it. I kept thinking this is definitely not safer than being in a plane!!!:beep :shocked

I drove 10 hours from Chicago to my parents' house in PA, then three down to the Philly area where my sister lives, seven to Akron, Ohio to see a friend and six from there back to Chicago. That's a lot of driving!
I've been looking all day for flight deals for Christmas. Unfortunately, when your budget is nil, there aren't many options.
But I did get a great surprise when I got home yesterday. In the mail was a nice little package from England, and in it was a Gunther CD and eight Penguins from Mandy, aka mindymoo.

I have a story! My husband and I were driving from Nashville to near Kansas City, MO on Wednesday. There was quite a snowstorm and they shut the interstate down near St. Louis. So, we had to spend an unexpected night there. We got up the next day and drove the rest of the way. What an adventure!

Thanks Cammie! I wish I was still swimming in 78° water and sipping margaritas instead of being back at work. :hm (ok, except for the part when I drank too much and ate some funky tacos and had some trouble...I won't go into details but it looked a little like this :drunken :barf :fart )
Oh well, at least I have another flight in 3 weeks to look forward to. :shocked
