Jerry Springer, Maury, etc....
Where do they find these people?
"My husband is actually my brother"
"I caught my Mom with my boyfriend"
"She told me that it was my cousin Steve's baby, but it actually was Steve's brother's"
Just when I think my family is strange... I see one of these shows, and realize that we are darn near perfect!
If I went on one of those shows to discuss my Fear of Flying, I would be so boreing... they would throw me off!

Mark, Is this what you are watching on TV with one eye, while moderating this board with the other??

 We don't watch TV, but during a national situation a few years ago, I borrowed one. I'd turn it on throughout the day to check on news updates. Some of the shows I saw part of made me ashamed to be human. Can you imagine going on national TV with your claim that you don't owe your ex-boyfriend for the cost of your silcone implants that he paid for you to get? And then all those paternity and infidelity things. :blech:
I don't miss TV at all.

I think everybody should be required to tell their secrets on daytime television. The people have a right to know.
The presumed backstory of those Jerry Springer shows baffles me though: "Darling, I have an important secret to tell you, but I think it's best if I tell you on Jerry Springer. What do you think?"
