Was thinking about Leslie and my coversation over on Club TF about our first car.

Just wondering what everyone drives around in. I guess this is another one of those funky polls!

So... What kind of car do you drive around in???

Me... Nissan Maxima (I like to fly!) :beep

I drive a 2000 dodge intrepid (state farm pool car we bought) and a pontiac grand am 1997(state farm again we bought) and a daewoo leganza 2000(worst investment ever as they left USA but it's still runnin).. And lastly a Toyota Tacoma 1999.

Yes, my neighbors hate me for having too many vehicles. Do I care? Nope. None are on blocks so the nieghbors can move away if they have a problem. I am buying a few motorcycles here soon. Gonna park them on neighbors lawn.

1999 Subaru Legacy sedan. White because Phoenix is hot, and white deflects the heat. It has around 80,000 miles on it, but I love it because it performs well and it's all paid for. Hope to keep it for at least a couple more years.

Before I got hooked on Subarus, I had a Nissan Stanza. Mark, your car history and mine are creepily similar.

We have 2 older Chevys which will for sure be our LAST Chevrolets ever. Ugh.

I have a Lumina Minivan with 100K miles on it and hubby drives a 97 Blazer with 89K miles on it. We are driving them until they die! We are debt free (except the house) in the Spring of 2005 so we will replace the first car that dies with a small SUV.

In Nashville I drive a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and love it!

When the band hits it big I told them I want a Volvo Cross Country Wagon as my bonus!

Just handed the Ford Explorer over to the 17 year old (:shocked ). Got a Jeep Cherokee in it's place. Kelley, it is the coolest car.
We also have a Dodge Caravan which is the opposite of the coolest car...Monica

I drive a 3-year-old Saturn with two bobblehead dogs on the dash (and a suspiciously "Massachusetts-liberal" bumper sticker that Huey makes fun of). Spiffytoo drives a ten-year-old Saturn with old Wendy's cups on the floor. See, doctors are not all rich.

You know, Spiff, those Wendy's cups are removeable. (Or if they're not, ew).

My car is Zoe Zoom-Zoom, a 2002 Mazda Protege. She's my second Protege; the first was a 1998 called Phoebe. She met a tragic end thanks to a certain guy who ran a red light. :cry

1987 Beemer 325 with 91K, formerly owned by the proverbial little old lady who never put any road miles on it...pale gold with sun roof. :) plus a 1985 beat-up dark blue Nissan pickup with circa 150K that looks like it's been in a couple of wars but runs great. :woohoo

I hadn't heard of those until the other day, when I turned on the radio in the middle of an announcement about a contest, and they said, "Enter now and win yourself a Pilot!" I thought, oh, my, I hope Kelley knows about this contest. :)

I had to trade my new Honda Odyssey for a 10-passenger Ford Clubwagon when #6 arrived. It's my badge of motherhood. The kids call it the Green Hornet (after the old radio program). It has a kickin' AC, extra captain chairs, tinted windows, and lots of space for the kids to spread out, so I'm not complaining. But I do miss having a Honda!

Well,
I drive a 1998 green Volvo Cross country wagon and the Husband drives a 1999 Range Rover. Nothing like a couple of DINKS...(double income, no kids) from Maine with the chocolate lab in the back...

I have owned....a chevette, a subara wagon, a ford EXP (half sports car half escort 2 seater) a ford escort station wagon and a Jeep Cherokee.

A 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, who goes by the name of "Jed". (After Beverly Hillbillies - "poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed" -- get it??) For his size, he's actually not the gas-guzzler I thought he'd be, and goodness knows, he's worth it in a good New England snowstorm!

My old Sebring convertible lives out in Buckeye, AZ now. She loves it there. Nick drives her, but thinks it distracts from his "manly-man demeanor". then again, he says it sometimes helps him with "The Ladies", as they think it makes him "sensitive".
