I am flying to malaga on tues morn from heathrow with BA on airbus 320 - i am so worried at the moment as it dosen't seam real me going on a plane but i decided that if i don't fly this year it'll only be worse in another years time although this year i have the added bonus on being 61/2 mths pregnant! so the usual valium & alcohol is out of the question! So in preparation i have been trying to read as much about flying as possible to try and convince myself of how safe flying is - but unfortuantly i vaguely read something not to comforting about the difference between boeing and airbus (i say vaguely as i didn't want to read itonce i see what it was about!) could anyone tell me if boeing are superior to airbus or if it dosen't make any difference (which i'm hoping  )

One of those debates that will never go away, since we have both each crew defends their aircraft and the pros and cons fly thick and fast. For passengers there is no difference between the two. BA operated to a very high standard and that is the most important factor for saftey.

Thanks for getting back to me guys - i'm getting really nervous now! i can feel the tears coming! it just seams so sureal to me! to be honest i would be worrying just as much with either airplane (boeing or airbus) i don't think i did myself any favours with this obsessive searching on the web for information! i didn't even know there were different aircraft at all until this week! stil only 12 hrs to go! i'm staying at heathrow tonight i'm hoping that seeing a few planes might eventually help me feel more relaxed (either that or i'll be on verge of breakdown by sunrise!).
