I'm not a morning person AT ALL but I do enjoy the views from the air of sunrise. I was on the wrong side of the plane to see the sun but I could see the pastel colors of a Spring Sky just fine.

This picture was taken this morning about 7am just a few minutes after takeoff from Charleston.

 Amazing shot! I LOVE that color ... a friend of mine one day told me she calls that color "sky blue pink." So now, sky blue pink is a color in OUR family's vocabulary!

Thanks, Kelley!

Well... the destination was worth it but getting up early has never been my strong point! If I had thought about it when I booked an early flight I would have made sure to sit on the other side of the plane to get better pictures. I am flying home Monday nite about the time of sunset so I will make sure to sit on the correct side if possible.

I love taking pictures of clouds.

Kel Gorgeous shot! But help my blonde confusion --- I thought you weren't supposed to fly 'til the Baby's Born?? Is everything okay?
DebMy first thoughts, too? Hope all is well....

Thanks for the concern, Deb and Mark - but all is well. I had to get special permission from my OB to fly up this weekend - especially considering the number of contractions I have daily and the fact that I am 1cm (at 32 weeks). Our proximity to Johns Hopkins from where we are in MD was a big factor in allowing me to travel.

Brett bought a house for us in MD and I wanted to actually lay eyes on it before moving in (to help pick paint colors and furniture)! Long story short, the day before I flew into town the road workers broke a sewer line causing it to back up into the finished basement of our future home causing a good bit of damage and we can't get into the house to see the rest of the house because it is currently a health hazard!
