In another thread, you mentioned the Google calendar. I made one, but I can't figure out how to let someone else edit it too. How do you do that?

Great, I was hoping someone would start an "Ask ES Jeff" column!:D
My question is: The other night I read a post by Marco around 9:00 p.m. PST, and it made me realize that flying really is fun and exciting. But I posted that by midnight I'd probably be a wuss again.
Then I thought, "But hey, it already IS midnight where Marco is (in EST), and I'm not a wuss now." So then I wondered, is there some way an individual can view (or change?) the space-time continuum so that flying ALWAYS seems fun and exciting?
I'll take my answer after Erika's, of course. :)

Thanks! I built that machine, found the wormhole, and presto! Met these two guys, and boy did THEY think flying was exciting. They were goggle-eyed when I told them about the Airbus 380.

Ooooh I need a Dear ES question answered too....
Dear ES Jeff,
I have a "friend" who visited some ummm websites and now has pop-ups that won't go away no matter what spyware or anti-virus scan he runs. Is there any hope of getting these pop-ups off of his PC?
Thanks!

Jeff, why are cats so sweet and Erika so mean? And is there a connection?
I'll take my answer after Kelley's.
Thanks.

Dear ES Jeff,
Thank you for the calendar guidance; it was very helpful. My next question is: I am looking for some tasty, easily-freezable, healthy meals that I can make in bulk and freeze in individual containers for lunches to bring to work. Do you have any suggestions?

Dear ES Jeff,
How do you get the links to be clickable and say "here" instead of the long URL?

I'd call him an internet search guru, or the human search engine.
I have another question, Jeff. Also about Google products. My current gmail address is my name @gmail.com. But pretty soon my name is changing, so I want to change my e-mail address. (I want to change it anyway because my middle name is in there, so my address is long. I'd rather have it just my first and last names).
BUT...I'd like to keep my old messages. Is there a way to keep my old account and just change the address? Or to move the messages to the new account without forwarding every single one of them?

I'll take this one.
Let's say you want to link to my blog (http://staplingjello.blogspot.com/).
Go to http://staplingjello.blogspot.com. Go to your browser window and highlight http://staplingjello.blogspot.com. Right click your mouse, and on the menu that comes up, click "copy."
Then, come to the forum, open up a new message (you know how to do that) and type what you want your message to say, like, "hey, everybody read Erika's blog!"
To make the words "Erika's blog" a link, highlight the words Erika's blog. Then, go to the task bar above the post. (The one that has the icons to make your words bold or italic, etc. The 11th icon from the left looks like the Earth with a chain link (get it? Link?) by it. Click that, and you'll get a pop-up thing that asks you to enter the URL of your link. Right click in that box, and on the menu that comes up, click "paste." Then hit "OK."
Voila! You've got a link!
Edit: If you are interested in reading moi's blog, you should. Today's entry features both Kari and Mark.

Erika, I just read your blog about O'Hare. I have to honestly say my first thought was "she's the kind of writer that will make it and we will all be saying I knew her when."
Wow, thanks. I hope you're right, because it's the only thing I really really love to do.
