Hey all...I totally understand your fear of flying. I also want to suggest that it may be from low seratonin. Be sure to eat plenty of protein before you fly, no caffeine either.
I would highly recommend the book by Julia Ross, Mood Cure or Diet Cure. Try taking a few 5-HTP (available at a health food store - they are amino acids) I like the brand NOW, particularly. Chew them up and put them under your tongue for sublingual support. Now....feel as nervous? I doubt it.

It is amazing, but very well researched book on mood disorders vis a vis our extremely poor eating habits. Don't just dismiss what I am saying. I am a flight attendant that was afraid to fly. I live near this health care professional that wrote this book and it changed my life. It is NOT new age-y crap. It is well researched science. Look up the books on Amazon.com, buy some 5-HTP and what the heck? It has worked for THOUSANDS of us.
See you in the air!

I agree that an individuals diet may be to blame for anxiety. However, why bother going the natural route when we have ssri's available? It is nearly impossible to change a persons diet. If it werent, we would have happy skinny people everywhere.

I have said it before and I will say it again; put Paxil in the drinking water.
