I have a slight problem...

The ink is out in my printer at home. Duh, should have noticed early, but we never print anything at home!

Tomorrow morning I can check us in early on SWA and get the A boarding pass...but I can't print it!

Can I still check in, get the A pass and print it from the kiosk at the airport???

Freaking here as my plan was to print from work but since there is no school tomorrow...well, there goes that plan.

I had that problem once... except I did not know the printer was kaput.

I "think" I went to the counter, told them that I checked in online, but my printer malfunctioned.

Can you go to a neighbor's or relatives computer?

This is not good. I took out my cartridges and shook them...sometimes that helps, but not this time. This puppy is giving me an error message. Drat.

Not sure if our neighbors have online access or not. Thinking, thinking, thinking...

I believe you can reprint your boarding pass at the airport. When I have checked my bags and stuff, the little computer dealy at the airport always asks if I want a printed boarding pass. So you should be fine.

Or just send Don out for a new cartridge. That's what husbands are for, right?

Go thru the check in process online and secure your A pass then you can reprint it at the kiosk when you get to the airport. No worries.

Thanks Kelley and Erika!!!

I had a feeling that I could still check us in online and just reprint at the airport, but I wasn't 100% on that one. I went to the SWA site and tried to get info, fought with my printers for awhile and watched Don almost faint when I told him out of two printers we have, neither one of them works. :D I'm just not a print-it-out kind of gal, so my printer maintenance stinks.

Thank you again though...Kelley, I will do just what you said and check in online and print when we arrive. That takes a load off moi!:tiphat:

I did this same thing over New Year's flying to St. Louis and also on a couple of trips to LA last fall. Go to the SWA counter and they will print your boarding pass--no prob.

It comes up a lot on for me on return flights. When I travel, I bring my laptop, but not a printer. And I rarely feel like traipsing down to the hotel's business center. So I'll still check-in online (from the room), but print the pass later. Works like a charm.

It's a little different since you can only check it one person at a time, and it only takes a few more minutes.
