we made it to switzerland...... great flight!

hi everyone

just want to let you know that our flight to switzerland was awesome. we had so little turbulence it was smooth.
we did LA Zurich in 11 hours. my husband took xanax twice and i did as well, i was not able to sleep though. we had a brand new A340, and the technolgy was great we each had a screen in front of us, you could play movies, play games.... and the best part, there were 2 live cameras mounted ,one in the pilot's cabin and the other underneath the plane.... amazing pictures. When we landed we were able to see on our screen, the runway, it got closer and closer, it felt like playing a flying simulation game. i will give you a full trip report when we get back on the 3rd...

Your flight was the norm. Turbulence of any consequence is characteristic of maybe one flight in ten.
