This was rather embarrassing when it happened to me, but I am guessing you all will find it rather funny indeed.
My boss sent me to a conference all week. It was held at the MTSU center for dyslexia. The conference was on a new way to teach language arts. After about the second day, major boredom set in. Our trainer treated us like we were juveniles, stating that training teachers was one of the worst things to do ever because we talk too much. Hmmph...
Considering that I was bored and was either going to have to entertain myself or go climb out the bathroom window, I put one of the language arts books in my lap and then put Ray's book on top of that and started to read. I was sitting in the back of the room so I thought I was pretty safe. I kept one eye on the trainer and one eye on the book reading.
This worked well until I got pretty much engrossed in Ray's book. The trainer had walked towards the back of the classroom and was peering over my language arts book. She didn't say anything, but she gave me that "evil eye" and let me know that she had busted me. Been a long time since I'd actually been on that end of trouble in the classroom. :lol:
