I am not a fearful flyer--I love flying! What gets me anxious are the weather reports before I travel. I tend to freak out whenever snow or rain is predicted the day of my flight (which tends to happen a lot!), and I'm always afraid my flight will get cancelled. So, I stopped listening to forecasts up to a week before I fly! And of course, flight cancellations are all we seem to hear about on the news when weather is active!
If any pilots or knowledgeable folks can offer some perspective: how bad does the weather have to be to cancel a flight? I fly out of MSP, by the way, and my next flight is to CA the first week of January (and I am praying for no snow, despite all the folks here who are whining for snow!).
