Chelle could explain it better, but I think they are robots the search engines use to slurp words for their databases ... so, for instance, if somebody Googles "this post is worthless without pictures," they get one billion TF hits. :)

While it's good for the search databases, it's still creepy knowing all this is going on behind the scenes. Another reason to be very careful to what personal info you put on any website or any message board.
