Ha ha... He does!

Now Agne... you will have to help me out... who is Lilo and Stitch ?

Agne

On the left Stitch, Lilo on the right !

kallieb

this part of the thread is cracking me up:rolling: :rolling: :rolling: It really is! I can't explain, it is so viscerally funny!

So, Mark, thank you for the picture of patrick; but his picture is like a puzzle game because I still don't know what? who? Patrick is. And you are right Agne, that bob thing looks like a piece of cheese!

Let's have a game?? Is he a starfish, or a lobster maybe. Or a pyramid person?

This is funny. Can you tell, I don't have young children anymore and - thank goodness - no grandchildren yet (ONLY because my children are yet not at that place in their lives).

Agne, I choose that thing of the left only because I don't know what it actually is in the first place and strange things have always intrigued me!

noflyingfan
01-16-2006, 06:43 PM
Patrick is a starfish.

I would choose Lilo, because she looks like a friend of mine, and also because she likes Elvis.

Sleeping Beauty or Snow White?

The original "Ocean's 11" or the remake?

David Cassidy (but his little brother Shaun is hotter!)

I originally had David or Shaun Cassidy, but changed it at the last minute! Too funny. And I agree, Shaun is hotter!

Ocean's 11 remake. And that's only because I haven't seen the original.

Bacon or sausage?

Mmm ... sausage.

Doctor or Dentist?

Agne
01-19-2006, 04:39 PM
If I had to choose what to do, I'd say dentist.

But if I am the patient, I'll choose doctor. I hate going to the dentists.

Rebecca

This is good ... I was thinking the choices should be harder, and you guys are toughening it up.

Both types of truffles are so good ... wait! I've never HAD an actual fungi truffle, only read about them. So ... BELIEVE that they're better than chocolate truffles, or go with the known thing ...

Okay! Chocolate truffles!!!

Now I'll re-instate the question I posted but removed out of shyness. I'll just leave off the photo of the banana slug this time.

What would you rather find in your shoe, a black widow spider or a banana slug?

 P.S. What's this about Sean and a green wig????

kallieb
01-26-2006, 04:15 AM
I don't have an answer, I am just thoroughly enjoying the loopy kind of choices that have popped up lately. This is most amusing!

So Sean...you went to work with Green Hair.... hmmm... given your sense of humour here, I'm sure it must spill out in your workplace all the time. With that said....did anyone bat an eye?:D

Sorry to hijack the thread.....i couldn't resist.........ken made me do it (no! - but it fits doesn't it:D :D )

Ummm ... Steelers or Seahawks?

Stef
01-27-2006, 12:59 AM
Well, I have no allegiance to either team, but I'll go with the Seahawks since it's their first time in the Super Bowl.

Hot Fudge Sundae or Banana Split?

LeslieDEN
01-27-2006, 04:22 AM
Hot fudge sundae for sure. Banana splits always seemed untrustworthy ... first, there are three different sauces, aren't there (?), so you're bound not to like one of them. Moreover, there was a definite hint of adult treachery going on with the banana, like they were trying to trick you into eating something healthy. None of that nonsense with the honest and yummy hot fudge sundae.

Splurging: Handbags or shoes?

Just this morning I was thinking it's time to go shoe shopping!

Tulips or Daffodils?

LeslieDEN
01-30-2006, 05:40 AM
I guess daffodils, just out of solidarity with our Canadian friends. I read once that they've always been annoyed that Holland tried to pay them back for WWII support with a bunch of worthless tulips.

Sub-zero winters or over-100-degree summers?

Over-100-degree summers. Once it tops 100 degrees, you hit a misery wall, and it doesn't matter if it's 101 degrees or 115 degrees ... it's just "friggin' hot." But I bet you can really feel the difference between -1 degree and -15 degrees.

Well, technically, humans are animals. :)

But I'd want to come back as a human anyway. It's really hard to make a decent gin martini without opposable thumbs.

Ooh! Good one!

Let's say you're leading a team of 100 explorers through a mysterious jungle, and you find yourself in terrible danger. There are only two courses of action to take.

One path will mean certain death for 50 of your party, but certain survival for the other 50.

The other path means a 50% chance of everyone either dying or surviving.

Which path do you lead everyone down?

The "other" path (50% chance of everyone surviving...or not.) Why? Dunno. Maybe I'm an optimist...or great at denial. Hmmm.

Okay, fine. I'll step up to the plate for this one...

I'll take the snot, please. That razor blade sounds like it could do permanent damage. But a mouthful of dead dog snot is nothing that a bottle of Scope couldn't fix. Couldn't be any worse that eating oysters, right?

Would you generally rather be overdressed or underdressed for the occassion?

Best friend. Probably more likely to help figure out a way to get rescued! And can carry on a conversation.

You’re snowed in for three days in Knoxville, trapped in an auditorium. You are forced to listen to one entertainer sing one song for the entire time. Your choices are: Gordon Lightfoot and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" or Paul Anka and "Feelings."

"Does anyone know where the love of God goes,

Blind or deaf?

Definitely deaf.

Granted, it would mean giving up music, which would be a drag. But I could still do my job with just about as much ease as I do now. And I could still fly (believe it or not). And I could still run and bike and drive, etc.

Getting honked at by a dolt driver or honking at a dolt driver?

noflyingfan
04-10-2007, 04:03 PM
I thought it was time to bring this back.

I'd rather honk. Getting honked at is annoying, and whenever people honk at me, it is usually because I am following the rules. For example, if I don't slam my foot on the gas pedal the second the opposing light turns red, I get honked at. I'd rather wait for my light to turn green, please. I did get honked at this morning for a valid reason (I had a right-turn green arrow, didn't know they had such a thing at this intersection and wasn't paying attention), but the guy who honked blasted his horn way too long for a simple, "hey, you have the green." The honk he used was more of a "our vehicles are both in imminent danger" honk. Stupid guy.

Alright...

Running like mad to catch your plane 30 seconds before the doors close, or arriving at a reasonable time and being delayed for two hours?

I'd rather run like mad to get to my plane right before the door closes.

That way, as soon as I'm on, they get things rolling and we go. No waiting around.

Richly for a normal lifespan . . . IF and only if I get to determine what "richly" means! Not necessarily money, fame, and fortune so much as love, children, and hope for the future.

Big windows or closet space?

Neighborhood grocery store with better products or big box chain with cheaper products?

LeslieDEN
06-23-2007, 01:12 AM
Neighborhood grocery store with better products or big box chain with cheaper products? Is anybody else having the same problem with this one that I am? My trouble is that I don't think I know what either of these things is ...

I remember the "Home Grocery" back in the tiny Texas town I lived in for a while as a kid, but that was a million years ago and I don't know if such stores exist anymore. They didn't have better products, just the only groceries you could get without driving all the way to Vernon. I don't think that's what Erika means.

I'm not sure what a big box chain is either. Is that one of those places where you can buy both major electronics and milk?

Suddenly I feel very provincial.

aerobat
06-23-2007, 01:20 AM
Wull, here in Austin, that'd be, I guess...a choice between Wheatsville Co-op and Wal-Mart.

I must admit I frequent both places. I s'pose the answer would depend on whether I was looking for good organic carrot juice (Wheatsville!) or a 24-pack of paper towels (Wal-Mart). I don't guess that's a real answer?

OK...satin sheets or flannel sheets?

WillFlyToDisney

Brady Bunch or Partridge Family?

noflyingfan

I'm not sure what a big box chain is either. Is that one of those places where you can buy both major electronics and milk?
Big box is what they call places like Wal-Mart or Target, or really any big chain grocery store.

I guess maybe I shouldn't have said neighborhood market. I was thinking of more of specialty stores I guess. Like, would you rather go to a real butcher shop to get steaks, where you know they'll taste fantastic, or would you rather get them at the grocery store where you know you'll save money. That type of thing.

Anyway, to the task at hand...

Brady Bunch all the way. David Cassidy was dreamy in his day, but Barry Williams is timeless, plus The Brady Bunch didn't have Danny Bonaduce, who was a little annoying for me. I did like their bus though.
