Why is airfare so much considerably cheaper on Sundays? Do they skip safety steps on Sundays?! I hope not. Haha...if anyone has an answer that would make me feel better.

Probably for the same reason that fares are different on SWA on different days of the week. The objective of the airline is to fill the plane and make the most money possible per seat. When demand is high, like around Christmas, they can charge more and still fill the plane. When demand is low, they need to offer financial incentives (lower fares) to tempt people to fly on those days. It has NOTHING to do with safety procedures on certain days of the week!!

Supply and demmand. Lowcosts charge different rates for different seats so as it fills up the price shoots up. Sunday is probably a slack day for BA so by lowering the price they are probably trying to fill an aircraft up.
