YIKES!
At 7:30 am local I remembered one of the reasons I DON'T like California! We had an Earthquake.
I was about to leave for the office, and we had three jolts, the first was sizeable, with two smaller ones following. It was enough to knock some items off the table upstairs, and enough to get my attention!
You think turbulence in the air is bad... at least there you know you are ok!
