If you've been reading the Club TF forum, you probably know that some of us have been kicking around the idea of a holiday gift exchange. Well, folks, it's time to get your holiday pants on and boogie down, TF-style!

Here's how it's going to work.

If you want to participate, send a PM to me, noflyingfan, with your name and address before November 30. I will send a list of participants to Passenger Mark, and, with his approval, draw names and send everyone back a PM with the name and address of the person they're to send a gift to, hopefully at the beginning of the following week.

Once you receive your gift, tell us what you got! Post a picture if you like. And then we can all guess who sent it!

You don't have to spend a lot; this is just for fun and a little holiday cheer! Limit is $10-15 on the gift, or $50 if you get my name.

I will again state publicly that I will not send anyone a Gunther CD. So don't go signing up just to get one.

Now, the fine print.

We want to make sure that everyone who signs up will follow through. Therefore, if you want to participate, you must have at least 100 posts. All participants will be verified via blood and algebra tests. :D

If you do sign up and don't follow through, I'll send this guy (http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/photo_closeups_pp5.htm) to your house to crack your skull.

There have been some valid concerns about the sharing of personal information in cyberspace, and we don't want anyone to miss out on the fun, so rest assured that I will not share your address with anyone except your own Secret Santa.

So how 'bout it, folks? Are you ready to kick off this festive season?

I'm OK with it if everyone else is.

You're right, Monica. I'll post there unless someone else already has.

Sure, why not? I think that is great.

There are many member's spouses that have become like members themselves. I have enjoyed getting to know them (sometimes better than their "better half") ha ha JUST KIDDING! :D

Yeah, but if one of you gets the other one, you still have the mail the present.

Would like to join in but am concerned that the person who gets my name will have extra postage costs to the UK.

Lynda- I dont think anyone would care. Doesn't cost that much to ship over the pond...

I would like to participate too but then my Secret Santa will have to pay an extra cost. And the Italian mail is very slow. Can I participate anyway?

Lynda, Kari, Agne,

Do not let that worry you! Please join us! I looked it up on the USPS website, the rates for a package are reasonable, especially if the secret santa gets the package out early...

From the US to Italy... are 17.50 for a 1lb package with delivery in 4-10 days. $4.10 for a 1lb package with delivery in 4-6 weeks, and 19.25 for a 5lb package with delivery in 4-6 weeks.

Rates from the US to England are about 2-4 dollars less across the board.

For more information you can go to the USPS site Here. (http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm?from=home&page=0061calculatepostage)

You can also go to the UPS (http://www.takingflight.us/forums/www.ups.com) site, but will need the postal code.

I am all for anyone across the pond participating. If anyone would rather not buy for someone on another continent, let me know and we'll see if we can rig the drawing so you don't.

There you have it folks!

If you draw Kari, just wrap up some tissue paper in a box (way under a 1lb) and send it. The delivery WILL be her gift! Just wondering Kari, how would you get a photo of that to post!?!?!

Kari, does the Irish UPS guy wear shorts? The UPS guy who delivers the mail we get from America always wears shorts.
