I cant remember if we have done a thread like this before but thought it would be fun to list what things you have to do that make you think you would rather be flying.
Example: today I had to lay perfectly still for 40 minutes for an MRI on my ankle (that I broke in June that hasnt healed) and thought - gosh, I could be flying to Atlanta in the time it takes me to lay here for this MRI.
I've also had similar thoughts when in the Dentist's chair. I would RATHER be on a plane 39,000 feet in the air going somewhere fun than sitting here having my teeth cleaned!
Anyone else??

Kell - good one
I've done that at work - lots!
Looking at the clock thinking, "If I boarded a plane at 8:30 instead of getting to my seat, I'd be in LA for lunch"
Yeah, so, I'd rather fly than go to work!

I'd rather fly than have a prostate exam. :shocked
Ah, come on! Ya'll KNEW it was coming. :lol
This guy :thumbsup has the disporportionally sized fingers like most doctors do who perform those exams.
And this guy looks like the Dr. as he's putting on the glove :happyguy
And.....you know what's coming next............here's me! :booty
Yeah, I'm a sick, sick man.:wired

At this point, I think I'd rather be flying than reading Mad Scientist's posts.
Just kiddin'.
I'd rather be flying than making a presentation at work. I wish I had good public speaking skills. Presentations scare me more than flying right now.
(Early on in my, well, "recovery," Mom asked me, "What would you rather do, fly or present?" I had a hard time answering. Nowadays, my answer would be an immediate "FLY!")

Ken, that post was doubly funny with your avatar guy looming to the left there.
My definitive answer would have to be...I'd rather be flying than waiting to get on a plane. But I'd also rather be flying than driving 10 hours on I-80 like I seem to do pretty often.
