I realized that I hadn't put my birthday in there until I looked at the board today and realized that it didn't say anything. But I wanted my own Happy Birthday thread, so I added it.
When do we eat?
Don't worry, Ken. I'll be out of my size 6s before too long. :leer:
But I'm afraid this post will have to be meaningless, 'cause I sure ain't posting pictures of that. :booty:

When do we eat?Maybe this is like in grade school where you have to bring your own treats to share with everyone. For some reason, those half vanilla ice cream/half orange sherbet things come to mind, with the little wooden spoony thing to eat it with.
Have a great day!

At my last job, we actually did that. Not the sherbet stuff, but whatever we wanted to bring in. Usually it was Krispy Kremes. I think I am the only person who actually made something at home and brought it in.
When I was in first grade, my mom got a phone call the night before my birthday that our class would be learning about the letter Z and it was my turn to bring in a treat for the letter we were studying. I don't think she even knew my class did anything like that. Since it was my birthday, she figured she would combine them, but the letter Z kind of blew the cupcake idea. So she made zucchini bread.
The funny thing was, my teacher didn't know about my birthday or the Z thing, and when everyone put their heads down and the people with the treats got up to pass them out (there was one other birthday and one other letter), I got yelled at when I stood up. I sat back down, but I knew my mom would yell at me if I went home with all that zucchini bread ("why didn't you just tell your teacher?") so I got up and when she yelled at me again I shot back, "it's my birthday." She was mean. I hear she later moved to England near Blackpool and taught cooking.

Did she stand there at judging time finding fault with Laura's apple crumble ... then find out it was Laura's and give it 10/10? If so, I think I might know her :)

Happy Birthday to my favorite #1 reporter!!! :D
Hey, maybe for your b-day Kari can get Sir Rolf to come see ya!
Hey, maybe for your b-day Kari can get Sir Rolf to come see ya!
Eh, tie me kangaroo down, sport!
There's an old Australian stockman, lying, dying,
and he gets himself up on one elbow,
and he turns to his mates,
who are gathered 'round him and he says:
Watch me wallabies feed mate.
Watch me wallabies feed.
They're a dangerous breed mate.
So watch me wallabies feed.
Altogether now!
Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.
Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.
Keep me cockatoo cool, Curl,
keep me cockatoo cool.
Don't go acting the fool, Curl,
just keep me cockatoo cool.
Altogether now!
Take me koala back, Jack,
take me koala back.
He lives somewhere out on the track, Mac,
so take me koala back.
Altogether now!
Let me Abos go loose, Lou,
let me Abos go loose.
They're of no further use, Lou,
so let me Abos go loose.
Altogether now!
Mind me platypus duck, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Don't let him go running amok, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Altogether now!
Play your digeridoo, Blue,
play your digeridoo.
Keep playing 'til I shoot thro' Blue,
play your digerydoo.
Altogether now!
Tan me hide when I'm dead, Fred,
tan me hide when I'm dead.
So we tanned his hide when he died Clyde,
And that's it hanging on the shed.
Altogether now!
Two little boys had two little toys
Each had a wooden horse
Gaily they played each summer's day
Warriors both of course
One little chap then had a mishap
Broke off his horse's head
Wept for his toy then cried with joy
As his young playmate said
Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Jack and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys
Long years had passed, war came so fast
Bravely they marched away
Cannon roared loud, and in the mad crowd
Wounded and dying lay
Up goes a shout, a horse dashes out
Out from the ranks so blue
Gallops away to where Joe lay
Then came a voice he knew
Did you think I would leave you dying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon be flying
I can go just as fast with two
Did you say Joe I'm all a-tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys
Do you think I would leave you dying
There's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon by flying
Back to the ranks so blue
Can you feel Joe I'm all a tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys
Sun arise, she bring in the morning.
Sun arise, bring in the morning, fluttering her skirts all around. Sun arise, she come with the dawning.
Sun arise, come with the dawning, spreading all the light all around.
Sun arise, on the kangaroo paw.
Sun arise, on the kangaroo paw, glistening the dew all around.
Sun arise, filling all the hollows,
Sun arise, filling all the hollows, lighting up the hills all around.
Sun arise, come with the dawning,
Sun arise, she come every day.
Sun arise, bring in the morning,
Sun arise, every, every, every, every, day.
She drive away the darkness, every day,
Drive away the darkness,
Bringing back the warmth to the ground.
Sun arise, oh, oh,
Sun arise, oh, oh,
Spreading all the light all around.
Sun arise, bring in the morning.
Sun arise, bring in the morning, spreading all the light all around.

I think that's a whole other kind of site...and a whole other kind of fear.

Oh my gosh if anyone wants to get me this for Christmas (the King Rolf one!) I would be eternally grateful! Love his version of Angels - it sounds like a bad Idol audition! Why has this man never been knighted?

No way. We all know that if Erika could have ANY birthday wish it would NOT be to see Sir Rolf but rather to adorn her body with images of this guy.......

And the coordinating thong... (I think Ken has one like this!)

Unfortunately, I got NO Gunther memorabilia at all for my birthday. But my sister gave me a stuffed fish that makes a really cool "boingggggggggg" noise when you hit it.
Happy Birthday Erika, don't forget that Kari and I eat cake and I am sure it would travel to the UK!!!!:cake:
Yes! Remember, I like chocolate cake best.

I only got an ice cream cake so far. We ate so much at dinner that we decided to wait on the normal cake till the weekend.
But I do have two pieces of the ice cream cake left if you guys want it.

...with a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you'll be milking it for the whole weekend. Day after day of celebrating!
I have a sheet of plywood, so I can play that whiffly noise in the background of "Tie Me Kangaroo Down" that we're going to perform in your honor.
The "tanned 'is hide" line FREAKED ME OUT when I was a kid. Psycho killer, qu'est-ce que c'est?? (I understand it better now!)
