The key to weight loss is to eat fewer calories than you burn each day. That can be accomplished by diet, exercise or stress. Easy stuff.

I went to my doctor's office today and I am officially 13 lbs lighter on the same scale than I was in January. :happyguy:

Seriously, congrats on the 13 lbs loss - that's incredible! I'm trying to lose the weight I put on since school began, but I've found it hard to measure progress over months when I like quicker results :angel:

You know, I would prefer quick results too, but if you think about it...if you start now, then in a month you could have lost like 10 pounds. If you spend the next month looking for a way to lose 10 pounds in a week, then you're 10 pounds behind, even if you do find it.

Well I wouldn't recommend this method of weight loss - it was all lost within 2 weeks totally due to stress. Some people eat when they are stressed but I am the opposite - I get so nauseated that I can't eat anything.

Now that the weight is off I don't want it back so I need to work out to keep it off!

Sometimes I am a stress eater, and sometimes I'm not. It depends on what I'm stressed about. If it is everyday sucks-now-but-will-pass-in-time stress, even if it's really bad, I eat and eat and eat. If I am bothered about something huge that I know could impact my life in a big way, and there's no end in sight then I don't want to eat.

That kind of stress is not worth the weight loss though, so I'd rather just tap into my will power. I know I must have some somewhere.
