First, I want to thank everyone who answered my post below. I did check out some of the resources and it definitely refreshed my memory!

Now, here's the problem. How am I going to survive 4+ hours on a plane to Phoenix? I have mastered the 2 hour flight to Miami (for work) and am usually chomping at the bit by the time we touch down. After I :read , :headphones , and :tango (ok maybe not dancing) I am now going to have 2 extra hours to fill....

Severe moments of apprehension are kicking in and feel like running away :dragonslayer . Hey, if I get in the car now I could probably make it to Phoenix by Tuesday....:think

Hey Christine, it's good to see you again! :wave :

I can empathize, the flights I take from Toronto to SFO are abut 5 hours, and that's about 4 hours longer than I want to be in an airplane :D

The folks here have some really creative ideas for keeping yourself busy on longer flights. Myself, I prefer to sleep :p Nothing makes the time go faster than that. I can't remember if you use(d) Ativan or the like, but it really helps me as I'm not otherwise able to sleep on an airplane.

Make sure you have lots of reading material. I find the short, mindless stuff (gossip mags, etc) are better with my limited attention span while flying. I've attempted to read novels and don't get past the first paragraph, lol.

You're going to do great! And remember to post your flight info so we can track you :)

I think after a certain point you may actually find yourself a little bored. Despite all the pre-flight jitters, the fact of the matter is moden air travel can be pretty mundane, especially on longer flights. I dunno what to tell you though. Get up and stretch a bit more. Bring Huey's list with you. That will keep you busy. If you can, take a nap!! I just got an Ipod for Christmas, so I know what I'll be messing mwith on my net flight.
