Interesting, although there isn't much new information here. I think the biggest reason was left off, however: It's easier to eat greasy food that's bad for you and sit on your butt than eat healthy food and get exercise.

No way am I giving up my AC!
I don't understand how sleep would help you lose weight either. Seems like you would burn more calories doing something awake.

I tend to agree with the sleeping thing. Sleeping has great health benefits, and besides, when I don't sleep well, I eat. I'm tired, I have a cup of coffee with sugar and cream, or worse, a calorie-laden drink from Starbucks or somewhere. And when I stay up really late, I tend to snack. Usually comfort food type stuff, which is not typically healthy.
