We've talked about what airlines have perks we like. But what about our wish list for what we'd like to have?
I'd like to have an option to track my own flight. I'd like to see where I am; even though I probably wouldn't be able to see things out the window (or recognize), even if the weather was clear.
It would also be nice if airlines could employ an "information officer." The captain doesn't always have time (or think it's necessary, most likely) to tell people exactly what's happening every second, so maybe that person could just do a running commentary, and people who wanted to listen could just tune in to whatever channel it was on the radio. I know United (I think it's United) has that Channel 9, but this would be in layman's terms and geared toward fearful fliers. It would also include updates on what the weather's like below, what's for lunch and whether or not the bathrooms are occupied.
I'd also like airlines to offer candy with their drink service. I like candy.
