Hi all!
Thanks for being so supportive and tracking some of my flights! I'm back and we had an amazing trip!!! So here is the trip report!

#1 - from KC to Chicago. Ok - I was nervous. But I took my xanex, met the captain and I did ok. No turbulence, so I did great!!!! I was so happy to go on the trip, that I think I was just happy to GO!!!!

#2 - From Chicago to London. More medicine, met the captain, who was hysterical. He was so funny (british airways) at totally put me at ease. Security on all these flights seemed greater to me and I really felt secure. I was so exhausted - get this - I actually slept on this flight!!! Very little turbulence and I did great!

#3 - from London to Venice. Get this. No medicine. Didnt meet the captain. I just wanted to get to Venice so badly, I didnt care! Almost no turbulence and I did GREAT!!!!! woo hoo!!!!

halfway done!

(As a side note - Venice was gorgeous, Florence had so much art, and we also went to Lucca, Pisa, Assisi, Isle of Capri, Sorrento, Naples, and Pompeii...and then on to Rome - where we actually got special tickets and saw the Pope very very close, just a few feet away at his Papal audience.)

Obviously there is too much to write about in one post about our trip, but we had a BLAST.

#4 - from Rome to London. Did great. No medicine, didnt meet the captain, so we did great! I did ask to board first so I could get a seat by the window (as I did on the other Easy Jet flight) because Ryan air also has seating like Southwest - come first, etc.

Now - HERE IS THE GOOD STORY. There was a guy being rowdy on this plane. He wanted to go to the bathroom while we were in descent. Who KNOWS why. It was very scary. And he started to yell, etc. Ok - so here we go - this is my fear, right? Terrorism. I tell you what. I was not scared. I was pissed. So was everyone else. We were all like, listen, buddy, stop scaring everyone. For the next 20 min as we landed, everyone kept turning to look and watch him. The police came and got him when we landed. WOO HOO!!!!

#5 - from London to Chicago - Ugh. Bad. Thought one guy looked suspicious, but obviously he wasnt. ...but I forgot and packed my medicine in my checked luggage and the flight was really turbulent. Ok - to be honest, I cried. I was really scared the whole way, which just exhausted me. I did drink two little bottles of wine, but it didnt really help, I was still scared.

But. I did it. And landed. Whew. I did it one more to go.

#6 - From Chicago to KC. Met the captain - he was so funny. I said I'm a fearful flyer - and he said - well my co-captain will calm you down. I was really scared on the last flight and he calmed me down for three hours. haha! It was funny him pretending to be a fearful flyer :) Didnt have my medicine and while it was a short flight it was turbulent as well. Ugh. I was exhausted then not only from traveling so much but also because I had been scared for about 10 hours now. Ugh.

But I did it. And I'm home. And I had the most wonderful trip of my life. We had such a great time, and it would be impossible to write everything down in one post. We really had a blast and I cant WAIT to get on a plane and go somewhere else :) ))

Thanks for all your support!
