Sorry missed the morning briefings again:( but did catch an interesting bit of information. I work at an enroute Air traffic control center in Jacksonville Fl. Our air space runs from about the boarder of North and South Caralina down to Orlando Fl and over to around the Fl/MS boarder. Our traffic count for 2/17/06 was aprox 9,110 aircraft. All getting from point A to point B...safetly. Man that is moving a lot of tin! I'm glad I'm a systems specialist and not a controller. Anybody that thinks they don't earn every penny they make needs to wake up!
