I was so looking forward to using this board to build my 2006 Flight Log, but it's mid-February, and I haven't flown at all yet this year! What will become of me? Worse, what will become of my United Premier status in 2007?

First I was scheduled to fly to Phillly. Woo hoo. But the meeting got cancelled. Then they said I might get to fly to Omaha. That was overcome by events too.

Now I am looking at vast darkness, no flights ahead at all. Sure, they make little whispers about rescheduling the Philly meeting, but they are making louder statements about not requiring as much travel this year ... that's supposed to be a good thing ... I guess it is for people who weren't looking forward to a big fat flight log.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really like the idea of flight logs and I sure wish I could start one. :cry:

My year looks like it will shape up that way too due to some job changes.

Book a flight for fun! Flightfest NYC perhaps????

Another guy in my office is in the same boat, but the bar is higher for him because he needs to maintain Premier Executive (same as Delta Gold). He decided to take a vacation to Australia!

I guess it could be kinda fun though. I could fantasy-fly every day and go places I'd never really go and fly on airlines I'd never really fly. I wouldn't have the tail number, but in the spirit of Mr. Frey, I could substitute a list of the drugs I didn't ingest on the flight I didn't take.

I'll start my fantasy flight log soon! After all, this is still just a Beta site, why not test out the idea here?
