Hi everyone,
I will post a detailed trip report later, but I just wanted to let you know that I arrived in Utah. The trip was a real test of my progress--we were delayed for 5 hours before leaving IND while they worked on the engine. On my next flight I had an interesting encounter with wake turb in a Canadair CR(J?)-50. But I have to tell you, the experience was great and I owe it to all of the help I got from this board. You guys helped to change my life! Big Thanks!!!! Will write more later.
P.S. Courtney--if you are reading this, hang in there and push through the anxiety--you keep reliving the worst part and skipping the payoff. Don't do that to yourself girl!

Ya Baby,
:pompoms: :hyped: :pompoms: :pompoms:

Yee-Haw!!

Costanza!!!!

I am so pleased to hear from you that you are doing so well.

I was tracking you all day yesterday and wondered how you would manage the 'curve balls' that wree thrown at you yesterday: delay, different plane than expected, etc.

I am so tremendously pleased to hear that you had the inner-strength to beat back your fear.

When we look backwards - after having made that transition to a new state-of-mind while flying - isn't it remarkable how 'less than monstrous' our fear now appears!

Congratulations.

If you want to see your flight for itself, check out the tracking board. Your journey is well-captured there!

Have fun with your family:thumbsup: :tiphat: :sunshine:

Proof again that the anticipatory anxiety is FAR WORSE than the actual flight. We are not making this stuff up folks!!!

Congratulations!!!

Not to hijack Costanza's celebratory thread, but I couldn't resist the Barbie theme and had to post my favourite. Ah....the subtlety of it all...:rolling:
