Last week, USA Today starting carrying a sudoku puzzle right next to their crossword each day. I had never heard of it before (apparently, it's been a big, big fad in Britain for the past several months), but now I'm 100% hooked, and usually do a couple a day.:coffee:

Here are a few news articles about it, for those who have no idea what the heck I'm talking about:

SuDoku: The puzzle that ate the world (http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/this_britain/article220319.ece)

Logic puzzle sudoku piques brains worldwide (http://www.usatoday.com/life/2005-07-10-sodoku_x.htm)

Nine-digit fun (http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2005/Jul/11/il/507110326.html)

Anyway, it seems just the thing for the FOF'ers out there who might be looking for something to do on the plane. A difficult sudoku keeps me busy (and concentrating!) for a good half-hour at least.

Anyone else hooked?

My mother is totally hooked. She started with the sudoku puzzle on the newspaper, and a few days ago I bought her a little book with puzzles of various levels from very easy to difficult. I haven't tried yet but I think I will.

Okay, if anyone's interested, I've put together a page of Sudoku links:

Sudoku Links (http://www.jeffjetton.com/sudoku/)

This gives me a nice, "one stop shop" for downloading a few sudoku to solve when the mood strikes.

But there are pointers to several solving guides/tips/hints too, for those who'd like to risk gaining the addiction. :)
