I am taking a trip in two days from California to Germany and then to Italy. I want to know if there is any bump from here to there across Atlantic Ocean? I am very afraid flights.

You should be fine. From the direction you arrive in Germany you won't go near any mountains so should be fine. To get to Italy you will have to cross the Alps but this time of year there should be little turbulence.

Also, I am taking Luftania, but when I called the airlines company, they told me that the actual flight to go there is United Airlines and not Luftania, I feel like sell out because the travel agency never told me that Luftania is using United Airlines from San Francisco to Frankfurt. Thanks!

Jet streams are weakest in the summer so should not cause any trouble. Code sharing is common especially if Luftania don't fly from the US.

Thanks for the advice! In fact, I wasnt that scared until two years ago when I took a flight from LAX to Orlando in the early December. Afterward, I am very scared of taking flights. I am going to take Luftania, but the Luftania is operated by United Airlines. How is United Airlines? BTW, can you suggest me about something that I can do to decrease the degree of fear. Someone told me to eat a lot of cheese and drink a lot of milk? Thanks!

Which way is more bumpy? From California to Italy or from California to Hong Kong. One is flying over Altantic Ocean and the other one is flying over Pacific Ocean?
