Well, if you havent heard, I also put up my "Last Post" over on the SOAR Board. Tom wrote that unless I offer an "unconditional apology" (His words) that I would be banned. Unbelievable. >:

Like its MY fault that the controversy over there started. He fails to see that its HIM that is putting things in black and white and when someone doesnt agree with what HE says its considered "bad" and "evil." Ironic, huh?

Oh - and I asked him if censoring my free speech would mean that the ACLU would take away his card-carrying memberships. :) I"m sure he wont laugh at that one.

OK - so whew. Thats over and I"m so glad. Huge weight has been lifted.

So - back to flying :) I'm ACTUALLY flying on Friday and Sat. Anyone want to track me?? :) )))) PLEASE!?!?!?! :)

It's good to see you here! Welcome! That was a wholly undeserved and agonizing forced exodus for you over there (I followed it all), and I read your "last post" just now...I expect it to vanish soon. Nuff said; this is a friendly, supportive board (the cool colors are telling) and 'no >: bashing' is one of the rules, and you are--ahem-- in no way responsible for the necessity of THAT rule--ahem-- that I can discern ;) . I bailed from "over there" a couple of months ago because I felt I had been denied freedom of speech *about FoF*...oops, no bashing. :)

There IS a tracking board, too!

Again, welcome and please tell us about your upcoming flights and your feelings about them, work you are doing on them, etc.

Yea, Barb is right, one of the "standards" (I hate the word rule) is no bashing. And that includes other boards, members, etc.

I know there are things that are wanted to be said, but the sooner we put it all behind us... and get on with our work on The Fear of Flying... the better!

Ok - no bashing! I got it :)

Unfortunately, many people at the other "place" will not even know I'm gone. Tom moved my "last post" to the removed postings board because *I* wouldnt apologize. Crazy.

But it all good - Im with YOU GUYS now!! woo hoo!

And yes, I'm flying tomorrow and a few days after that - so please please track me - I'll post the info later today on the Tracking forum. :)

To be honest - I dont know why but this time around I'm not afraid to fly. I guess I shouldnt look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm just feeling good about it! Maybe I'm just really excited to get to Europe! :)

Oh - and I dont know anything about private messaging. I didnt get private messages at the other board.

Do we do that here? :)

You have to go into your profile and mark to "Enable Private Meassages". You have it enabled here, but it was NOT enabled over there.
