Hi All,
Wow! What a smile it brings to be back here! I can't even explain. I am very sorry I have been away for so long, but with the long hours of working on a cruise ship, I barely have time to eat. I am in Honolulu, right now. I was medical disembarked from my ship (Pride of Aloha) two weeks ago and had to spend a week in the hospital. For some reason the doctor thought it would be a great idea to give me asprin (which I am very allergic to). I hope to be back on board the ship soon (within a week or two).
It is so wonderful to read everyone's stories and see how much our little community has grown. I am so greatful for this place. Flying has become such a big part of my life (I have flown almost 12,000 miles since April). I still have some pangs of worry, but I can do it. It is just so amazing that I CAN do it. When I started coming here, back in Oct. (ish) I was so terrified that I couldn't even fly from Orlando to Columbus, OH and now I am jetting around the world without a second thought and on many occasions with only a few hours notice.
More or less, I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone here. As an (almost) recovered FOFer every flight is a wonderful and liberating experience.
PS If I can do it anyone can!!!
Thanks All,
Nich
