Hi ...
I flew from Forli to London 2 years ago with Ryanair. The day of my return trip I checked in at the airport and went to the gate, where I found out that the flight was not operated by Ryanair, but by EAL. Nobody told me about this, I found out it watching outside and seeing a different plane. Are airlines required to inform passengers about that kind of changes?
And, another doubt: it was a 737, but the safety brochure in the front seats were of 727. Is it possible? Can they put into a plane the safety infrormations of another plane?

thank you

Cant answer the 727 question. Doesn't sound right. It looks like Ryanair chartered EAL to do a flight or them. No they don't have to tell you as Ryanair is still operating the flight vicariously.

Thank you !
This thing of changing airline bothers me a little, because as a fearful flyer I always prefer to know "who" will take me to my destinations. I had never heard about an airline called EAL before, so it made me a little nervous. But it was fine, very kind FA and smooth flight.

thank you again !:sunshine:

EAL are a small airline that specialise in chartering to other airlines to help them out. They recently bought a few 747s and were contemplating smoking flights to US.
