So, I'm thinking about going abroad, but the trip I'm taking would require that I fly first KLM and then "Air Croatia."
As a fearful flyer, the thought of something called "Air Croatia" makes me think of that film with Mel Gibson and Robert Downey as two crazy pilots...
And the thought of flying "Air Croatia" does not make me happy...
Any words of comfort, advice, or if I should run fast in the other direction?

Cammie,
I know lots of people who have flown KLM and like the airline. Not sure about air Croatia. By not sure I mean I don't know anyone who has flown with them not that they are bad!
Enjoy your vacation.

Cammie,
KLM is fine, and I don't know anything about Air Croatia, but I am kicking this one back to the top in hopes that someone might have some info on it.

It must be pretty new.
You can get the stats on both airlines and airliners at:
www.Airsafe.com (http://www.Airsafe.com)
But, it isn't listed there either. :uhoh
I have never heard of it. :anon
They have a website at:
www.croatiaairlines.hr/ (http://www.croatiaairlines.hr/)

Appears they fly the A319 and A320...

Flew on both while I was in the UK, and found them to be fine.

Well, that is half the battle, assuming that makes up their entire fleet.
Now, if we could only know such things as how long they have been in business, who does their maintenance and pilot training, etc................. :scratch
