These are in my office at work. They are a reminder of what I have done, and can do.

They are models of the aircraft, including airline details that I have been on since I started flying again December 2003.

They include:

Southwest 737 (both colors)

Ontairio to Phoenix - December 2003
Phoenix to Nashville - December 2003
Nashville to Houston December 2003
Houston to Phoenix December 2003
Phoenix to Ontario December 2003

Southwest 737 - Gold

Ontario to Vegas and return - January 2004

Southwest 737 - Blue

Ontario to Vegas and return - February 2004

Delta 737

Ontario to Salt Lake and return - April 2004

Delta CRJ 300 & 700

Ontario to Dallas and return (700) - May 2004
Dallas to New Orleans and return (300) - May 2004

Southwest 737 - Gold

Ontario to Nashville and return - July 2004

Virgin Atlantic 747

Los Angeles to London Heathrow and return - August 2004

British Air Airbus 319 & 320

London Heathrow to Manchester and return - August 2004

I hope to add many more aircraft to the collection!

I also take a look at the photos I have made from the plane in previous trips. It helps to remember that I have done this, and will do it again with no problems!

That's really cool Mark 8)

Do you buy them like that or are they models you put together yourself?

That's a collection to be proud of :nod

That's a great idea Mark. Planes are so impressive, so to collect models of the ones you have travelled on means you will hopefully end up with a great looking collection.
When I was a young and fearless flier I used to collect sick bags off all the planes I travelled on. Nice child eh?! :barf
I had a great collection of them too! My mum and dad were soooo embarassed about it but I thought it was cool! When I got to about 14 I realised it was a bit gross and threw them all away! To be honest, now I'm 21 and a fearful flier, I wish I had kept them!! They would be a good (if not a little gross!) reminder of how many good flights I had over aprox 8 years!).

Penny,

No, that photo is of a real Southwest 737 taking off from Las Vegas. The photographer travels the world making photos of airliners in motion. He has given permission for the photos use.

Kelly,

That is funny... you are not the only one that has collected airsick bags...

No way - sicksack.com - well, i've seen it all now! If only I'd hung on to my little stash - I too could have started an..erm...fascinating website dedicated to the humble sick bag! Or maybe not!! :D
