Those of you from the old place, remember FurloughedAgain? He was a WEALTH of information for us fearful flyers over there. I wish he would come over here and post.

He helped me with my fear more than anyone else. His posts were informative and witty and had lots of groovy pictures!

Ah, yes, FA...king of the CRJ! Great posts, especially to get us over the hump of getting on those "small" planes. Thanks to him, the CRJ and ERJ are now two of my faves.

When I flew on the CRJs to and from New Orleans, he is what got me to go.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the invite. I did register. It's a bit of a busy week so I doubt i'll have much time to post but I sure appreciate the support.

Hurricane Jeane is headed towards Florida and our company has quite a few crewmembers who live down there. They're releasing all of them from duty to go prepare their homes and sending one of our airplanes down there to drop folks off and then bring them back on Monday after the storm passes.

For the rest of us that means more flying to cover (since they were pulled off of their trips to go home). So i'm getting ready to start a busy week. It does help that we've pre-cancelled almost all of our Florida flying for the weekend.

So i'll be up and down the east coast and the Canadian maritimes this week. I'll drop a note if I have the time.

In the meantime, if anyone has any regional jet questions, be sure to post them or -- if you dont see me for a few days -- feel free to email them.
