Last night I was at the Giants/Dodgers game in SF. The game started at 7:15. One of my seatmates had to leave the game a little before 10 to go catch a 12:30am flight to the midwest. He had a great time at the game (even though the Giants were losing...boo!) and then promptly got up to leave around 9:45.

If that had been me I would have been a nervous wreck all day long and I don't think I could have made it to the game at all!! I was in awe of him!!

Just wondering if any of you have ever done anything similar and if so were you able to focus on where you were rather than what you were going to be doing later.

Well, I'm off to the ballpark again. Go Giants!

Most of my recent flights I have had plenty of time to prepare.

However, my office is within 10 miles of the airport I fly out of, so on some of my flights I go there in the morning before heading to the airport. It is actually a distraction.

I have been unable to do anything constructive the day prior to flying, usually end up going to stay in the hotel at the airport!
