After wussing out on a trip to Argentina, which would have been a lot of fun, I booked a trip to Austin, TX for my 10 year law school reunion. I'm excited about the trip, although anxious about the flight. Hey, at least I booked it. And I know that if I booked it, I'm going. I've never not gone once I've booked it. The hard part is over!

TraderDude,
If there's any chance we might cross paths while you are in Austin, we could have us a spontaneous mini-Flight Fest right here. I live in Austin, as you may know, and know the campus area quite well as I also graduated from UT (PhD, Anthropology, 1990) and still spend time there on a weekly basis.
Anyway, if you'd like to meet and think you might have time, I'll do my best to arrange it.
Congratulations for booking the flight!! :tiphat: I agree that the hardest part is often the first step. You and this group together will create the magical safety net that will make your reunion trip not only doable, but the next BIG step in overcoming your fear.

Thanks for your offer. It's a short trip and I've got a pretty packed schedule, so I don't know if I'll be able to get away. But what an awfully nice thing for you to do - to make yourself available to a FFer like me. I do appreciate it!
