? Orlando Flightfest October

I said not too long ago that we were all disneyed out!!! Guess what! We are coming over to the land of the mouse again in October.

We will arrive on 19th October returning home on 2nd November.

Flying Virgin PE again but up in the bubble this time.

Anyone care to organise a Flightfest there are already 4 people up for this! Myself and Patrick, Mark and Scott!

I am sure they put something in the water in Disney that makes you keep returning! Disney magic !

Just a reminder about the harsh realities of Florida in the summer/fall - hurricanes. The hurricane season in the Atlantic Basin, which includes the North Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, runs from June 1 to November 30 each year.

In 2004, Florida got hit with four; the Orlando/center of state area was impacted by three, the last two in September. For some areas, it will take years to recover from this very untypical/unlucky devastating year.

The more into November you are, the most likely you are to miss the wrath of Mother Nature. Generally, like spring, November is a very nice time of the year. Didn't want to be a bummer, but thought this reminder might be helpful in planning.

Count me in pending my tour schedule! I am always up for a Mickey fix and would sooooooo love to meet Lynda in person (and Scott for that matter).

Hurricanes, Smurricanes. I have lived in hurricane prone areas all my life. They are by far my preferred natural disaster (meaning if I HAVE to experience one that is my choice) because you have DAYS to get the heck out of the way! If one threatens our Flightfest then we just relocate (I have PLENTY of room for everyone just up the coast in Charleston!).

God, I hope not!!! We didn't expect such last year, but hurricanes are so unpredictable and go in short-term patterns. Sorry, didn't mean to scare...but, they can be very scary...one should avoid them whenever possible.

Please not to worry since Kelley has the perfect solution...Plan B, relocation if needed. And flying is the best way to go!

Whatever floats your boat... you'll find it here. I'll start looking into stuff... Once this really gets going, I can look into great places for us to get together... We can do the CityWalk thing one night... Pat O'Briens hurricanes if you can handle them. This will be awesome!!! I consider myself quite the Orlando expert. I used to work at Disney World. My Dad still works there. Stephanie, my fiance is a manager at Universal Islands of Adventure. I guess I'm the man for the job if there's an Orlando get-together in the works!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never too early to get to planning. If I'm to play tavel agent, I'm gonna need some time. Lets try to get 2 thinkgs settled upon.

1) WHat will the date be? Onbiously, in a vacation destination like Florida, some people will stay longer than others, but I want to get a tange of dates where everyone will be here so we can plan a group get-together of some sort.

EVERYBODY>>> I NEED collective finger-crossing here!!!!!!! If all goes well and we close on the house I think we're gonna buy, we'll have an AWESOME clubhouse with a pool and all that. We could have at least one get-together there. By the way, I'm 10-15 minutes from both Disney and Universal.

2) Lets start to put together a count. Lets get the date(s) first, and then we can see who wants to be in on this one!!
