...but when I started flying again (1993--after thirty years of hating and avoiding it), I averaged a flight a week for three months and then jumped into flight training (I guess it WAS an obsession!!) ! All those commercial flights were part of a program that I cooked up with my therapist here in Austin, and wow, did I have a steep progress curve! I blew through a pile of bucks, saw lots of friends and relatives, logged lotsa miles, and felt like I was surfing a tidal wave!
:woohoo :woohoo :woohoo :woohoo
Chelle...any chance of a surfer smiley?
And then, after I started flying little planes, I backed off on the big ones to about once every two months for another year...and it still got better and better, right down into the normal range (umm, what I am guessing is normal), where I have been for ten years now--except for my abnormal delight and lack of jadedness.
:lol :woohoo :lol :woohoo
So I have my own testimony about what leads to "the cure" just as others do...everyone's experiences are valid!
So keep on flyin', Kelly!!
